Give Local SJC – May 5, 2015

Supporters of REAL Services have an opportunity to make their donations go even further! On Tuesday, May 5, 2015, the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County will match funds donated to select local nonprofits through Give Local St. Joseph County. Your donation will help elderly and disabled people in our community. REAL Services has more than 20 programs that serve our mission, including Nutrition Sites, Meals on Wheels, Adult Crime Victim Services, Milton Adult Day Services, Alzheimer's and Dementia Services, and many more.

REAL Services is one of the agencies that qualify to participate in and receive matching funds from the Give Local campaign. But we need YOU to help!

THIS IS A LIMITED WINDOW OF OPPORTUNITY! 

 To qualify, gifts must be received on or before May 5.

Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution that will qualify for the matching funds. You can do this in one of three ways:

1. Make your check payable to Community Foundation of St. Joseph County, with “REAL Service” on the memo line, and date it May 5. Return it to us before May 5 and we will make sure it is processed by the deadline.

2. Make a donation online at www.givelocalsjc.org on May 5. Gifts made on the REAL Services website will NOT qualify.

3. There will also be a one-week “preview period” beginning Monday, April 27, 2015. You can use that time to initiate gifts of stock or recommend a grant from your donor-advised fund with the Community Foundation. 

Give Local St. Joseph County is tied to a national event on May 5, 2015, called Give Local America, which involves scores of community foundations across America.
